March 30, 2026 — Beginning the process of developing a shared, institution-wide strategic framework that will guide how we make decisions, set priorities and collaborate across campuses.
Advancing One KU: Integrating AIRE and Establishing the Strategy Office
March 24, 2026 — KU Analytics, Institutional Research & Effectiveness (AIRE) office and the former Enterprise Analytics team at the KU Medical Center have been combined to form a One KU office. A One KU Strategy Office has been established to further support our institution-wide strategic alignment and execution.
Operations units align leadership under One KU framework
February 23, 2026 — Operations realigned as a One KU function to better serve all campus communities by creating opportunities for efficiencies, development of best practices, increased collaboration, and establishment of consistent policies and procedures across all campuses.
Changes to One KU Travel Policy and Procedure
January 21, 2026 — KU Travel Services designated as a One KU office to support university-related travel for all KU Lawrence and Medical Center campuses. A One KU travel policy was created to better align campus-specific travel policies, procedures, resources and systems for greater consistency in traveler experiences, support, benefits and security.

One KU Research leadership expansion
December 10, 2025 — Shelley Hooks announced as the One KU vice chancellor for research, expanding her leadership beyond the Lawrence campus to include all KU campuses.
